Breckenridge

Breckenridge is on a quiet street, near the centre of Keswick. It's about five minutes to the shops. You can walk to Derwentwater in ten.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up, so it's comfortable and clean. One bedroom and a shower room are on the ground floor, which is handy. The other two bedrooms and the main bathroom are downstairs.

The kitchen has what you'd need: dishwasher, washing machine. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. It's got a small patio area out the back.

You can bring one dog. There's a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are included.

Keswick has the usual things: pubs, shops, a cinema. Fitz Park is very close. For a bigger day out, you're in the middle of the Lakes. Derwentwater is the obvious one for a walk or a boat trip. National Trust Lake District has details on lots of places. Catbells is a popular walk and it's not far. You can drive to Borrowdale or up to the foot of Skiddaw in under half an hour.
