Six The Hollies
Six The Hollies is a bungalow apartment in Keswick. It's one of a few places on a quiet development called The Hollies. You're about two minutes' walk from the main street, so you can leave the car on the drive.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom has a super king bed and an en-suite shower. The other has twins. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living room is bright with a smart TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a table. The back door opens to a small terrace with a couple of chairs, looking out at the fells. There's also a shared garden across from the front door. It's lawned with some seats. It hardly ever gets used, so you'll probably have it to yourself.
From there, you can walk to everything. The pubs, shops, and restaurants in town. Derwentwater is a ten-minute walk. The Alhambra cinema is just up the road.
For walks, you can start from the door. Latrigg is a good short climb with a view over the town. Catbells is a classic. For a bigger day, Skiddaw or Blencathra are right there. The Lake District National Park site has all the route details.
If you fancy a drive, Buttermere and Borrowdale are within half an hour. The Theatre by the Lake is on the water's edge in Keswick. The Pencil Museum is in town if it rains.
