Six The Hollies
Six The Hollies is a bungalow apartment in Keswick. It's one of eight on a quiet development. You're about two minutes' walk from the pedestrian bit of town.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One has a super king bed and an en-suite shower. The other has twin beds. There's a second bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area and kitchen are all on the ground floor. The kitchen has a dishwasher. The back door opens to a small terrace with chairs, looking towards the fells. There's also a shared garden across from the front door, but it hardly gets used.
You can park on the drive.
The location is the main thing. You can walk to all the shops, pubs, and restaurants in a few minutes. Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk. The Alhambra cinema and George Fisher outdoor shop are just up the road.
For walking, you've got Latrigg and Catbells close by. Skiddaw and Blencathra are there if you want something bigger. The theatre by the lake puts on shows if the weather's bad.
If you drive, you can get to places like Bassenthwaite Lake or the Lakes Distillery in under half an hour. Ullswater is about 25 minutes away.
Facilities include WiFi, a Smart TV, bedding and towels. No pets.
