Bianca Rose is in Keswick. It's a Victorian town house, one of a terrace, about a five minute walk from the town centre.
It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. One bathroom plus an extra toilet and basin upstairs. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and comfortable but not modernised. It's tall, so there are a lot of stairs. They're the original stairs, so they're a bit steep and winding. The ceilings are high too, which makes it feel spacious.
The main bedroom is right at the top. It has windows on two sides with a view of the fells. You can see Skiddaw from there on a clear day.
Down in the town, there's a good choice of pubs, restaurants, and shops. It's very dog-friendly. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk. You can get the launch boats from there. Walking up Cat Bells from the lake is a popular day out.
For a rainy day, the Theatre by the Lake is good, and it's right on the water. The Pencil Museum is closer than you'd think.
Golf is nearby at Keswick Golf Club. For wider plans, the whole of the Northern Lakes is within easy reach. Borrowdale and Buttermere are about a 20 minute drive.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
