Bianca Rose is on a terrace in Keswick. It's a townhouse, so it's tall and narrow, basically Victorian. It's three minutes from the main shops.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom, plus an extra toilet and basin in the master room on the top floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, comfortable and you’ve got everything you need, but it's not a show home.
The living room and kitchen are on the first floor. The stairs are the original ones. They’re fine, but a bit steep and turn a corner, as you’d expect in an old house.
From the bedrooms upstairs you get a good view of the fells. It’s a proper Lakeland view.
The town centre is a short walk. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and outdoor shops. Keswick is very dog friendly. There’s a supermarket about a quarter of a mile away.
For getting out, you can walk to Derwentwater in a few minutes. You can get the launch boats from there. Keswick Launch does trips around the lake. Cat Bells is across the water. The theatre is on the lake edge too.
Further out, within about half an hour's drive, you’ve got places like Borrowdale, Buttermere and Thirlmere. You can get to some of the bigger fells pretty quickly from here.
In the house, you’ve got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
