Crossfeld is in Keswick, on the way out towards the fells. It's a detached bungalow with an upstairs. It's on a decent sized plot so you've got some room around you.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor, which can be handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is spacious and well kept, but it's a holiday let, not a show home. It feels lived-in.
You can walk into town in about ten minutes. It's flat. There's a small supermarket a couple of minutes away. A pub and some restaurants are about the same distance as the town centre.
Derwentwater is less than a mile. You can walk it on the path through the fields. The fells start pretty much at the back gate. You really don't need to drive if you don't want to.
You've got parking for six cars on the drive. The garden is enclosed. Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, towels and bedding are included, and there's a cot in the cupboard if you need it. No pets, sorry.
