Causey View is in Keswick. It's a small terraced cottage, just for two people. You get one bedroom, one bathroom.
The main thing is the view. The bedroom has a window that looks right out at Causey Pike. That's where the name comes from. The bed is a big Victorian style one.
Downstairs is all one room. There's a leather sofa by an open fire, a small dining table, and a galley kitchen at the back. The kitchen door leads out to a shared courtyard. There's a seat out there.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's cosy and clean, not a fancy show home. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're steep and a bit narrow.
You're right in the town. The shop, pubs, and restaurants are about a minute's walk away. You won't need to cook if you don't want to. We provide a parking permit for the local car parks, which are a short walk from the cottage.
For facilities, you've got the woodburner, TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. On-site parking means you can leave your car at the cottage.
Keswick is a good base for the fells. You can walk from the door. Derwentwater is a five minute walk for a stroll or a boat trip. The town is full of outdoor shops and cafes.
If you're planning trips, you're close to the northern lakes. Borrowdale is a ten minute drive. Buttermere and Crummock Water are about twenty minutes. Ullswater is maybe half an hour.
