7 Ladstock Hall (Deluxe)
This is number 7 Ladstock Hall. It's an apartment in a big old house that used to be a hotel, over near Thornthwaite. We're up on the hillside, so the main thing you'll notice are the views. You can see Skiddaw and the other fells right from the living room.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both ensuite. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's set up to be comfortable and good quality.
The living area is open plan and it feels big because of the high ceilings. There's a dining table by the patio doors so you can look out at the view. The stairs inside the apartment are a proper, full flight, just so you know. There's a patio outside with a table and chairs.
You're on the edge of Thornthwaite village. There's a bridle path right behind the house you can walk down to Braithwaite in about fifteen minutes. Braithwaite has a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. The nearest pub from here is about a mile and a half walk.
For getting out, you're well placed. Whinlatter Forest is on the doorstep for mountain biking or walking. Bassenthwaite Lake is close by if you want to go sailing. Keswick is about three miles away for shops and cafés.
The place comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, wi-fi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can store bikes if you bring them. No pets, I'm afraid.
