Serendipity
This is Serendipity, an apartment in Keswick. It's on the first floor, in a quiet bit just off the town. You can walk into the centre in about five minutes, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and everything works, but don't expect anything fancy. It's a practical sort of place.
You're right on the edge of everything here. Derwentwater is a short drive or a decent walk. You've got Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere close by too. For walking, you can head straight out from the door or drive a little way to get to some proper routes. The local Keswick town website has good information.
In town, there's a leisure pool, the theatre, and the usual shops and cafés. The Theatre by the Lake is nice if you fancy a show.
If you want to explore further, you're in a good spot for it. Buttermere and Borrowdale are within about a twenty minute drive. Ullswater is maybe half an hour. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. Your electricity is covered in the price. There's a local pub nearby. No pets, I'm afraid.
