Lund Cottage (Was Gabriel's Cottage)
This is Lund Cottage. It used to be called Gabriel's Cottage. It's on the corner of a terrace, just a few minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's been refurbished, so it's clean and comfortable.
The layout is upside down. That means the living room and kitchen are upstairs. The bedrooms are downstairs. It works fine, just something to know. The stairs are standard for a cottage of this age.
It has the original oak beams and a gas fire that looks like coal. It's a solid, warm place to come back to.
You're really close to everything. Derwentwater and Hope Park are about a four minute walk away. The town, with its shops and places to eat, is even closer. There's a local pub nearby too.
Facilities include WiFi, and bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot available if you need one. We don't allow pets, sorry.
