Bay Cottage
This is Bay Cottage in Keswick. It's a terraced house in a quiet street with other houses like it. You're a five minute walk from the main shops and about ten minutes from Derwentwater.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. One room has a king size bed, the other has twins. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped.
The kitchen is a good size, which is handy. There's a dining room and a living room on the ground floor.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids or a dog. Speaking of which, we do allow one well-behaved pet.
You've got everything you need in the town. Shops, pubs, restaurants, and Fitz Park are all within 400 yards. The leisure centre is just down the road if the weather turns. For a swim in the lake, Derwentwater is about half a mile.
Obviously, you're right in the middle of the fells for walking. You can start a hike from the door. For driving out, Borrowdale is about ten minutes away, and Ullswater is maybe twenty minutes.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, a cot, and all the bedding and towels are included. We put up Christmas decorations if you're booking over the holiday.
