Bay Cottage
Bay Cottage is in Keswick, up a residential street near the town centre. It’s a terraced house, so you've got neighbours, but it's quiet. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s well looked after and comfortable. The stairs are normal. The kitchen is a good size.
You can walk into town in a few minutes. There's a pub close by. Fitz Park is just down the road if the kids need to run about. Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk.
For walking, you can start right from the door. The fells around Keswick are right there. Catbells is a classic. If you want to drive, you can get to Borrowdale, Buttermere, or Grasmere within half an hour.
It’s a good spot if you want to be able to pop out for a coffee or a pint without getting in the car. The leisure centre is close if the weather turns.
Facilities: it’s got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. It’s available over Christmas, and we put a tree up.
