This is the apartment at 2 Greta Grove House. It's on a small development on the edge of Keswick. You're a five minute walk from the main shops but it feels quiet, because you're right by the River Greta. You can see Skiddaw from the patio.
It's a ground floor flat that sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom is en-suite, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
Because it's ground floor and has a wheelchair accessible entrance, it works for people who struggle with stairs. The patio is enclosed and has a table and chairs. You can sit out there with a drink and just watch the river.
There's a local pub a short walk away. The centre of Keswick is even closer. You can leave the car on the driveway and walk in for dinner.
For walks, you can literally step out the door and be on a path by the river. It's a good starting point. Derwentwater is about a 15 minute stroll through town.
If you drive, Borrowdale is ten minutes one way and the A66 to Penrith is ten minutes the other. It's a good spot for getting around the northern lakes. Thirlmere and the Helvellyn range are within a half hour drive.
In the flat you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
