4 Harney Peak is an apartment in Portinscale. It's on the first floor of a building that used to be a hotel. The village is quiet. It's about a 20 minute walk into Keswick along the river, which is a nice flat path.
It sleeps four in two double bedrooms. Both have their own bathroom, which is handy. One bedroom has a small Juliet balcony. The living area is open plan with the kitchen. There's a table, a sofa, and a TV. You get WiFi.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking for two cars allocated to the property, which is a real plus around here. Bedding and towels are included.
Portinscale is good for walking. You can go down to the marina at Nichol End and get on the Keswick Launch if you want a boat trip. Or you can walk around Derwentwater. The path to Catbells starts from the other side of the lake.
Keswick has all the shops and places to eat you'd need. It's also the main spot for bus tours around the lakes. For wider planning, the Lake District National Park website is useful.
