4 Harney Peak is a first-floor apartment in Portinscale. It's about a 20-minute walk into Keswick along the path, so you don't always need the car.
The place sleeps four in two double bedrooms. One of them has its own shower room and a small Juliet balcony. The other uses the main bathroom. Both bathrooms are modern.
The living area is open plan, with the kitchen, dining table and seating all together. The windows are big, so you get a decent view out. There's a TV with Netflix and a washing machine. The kitchen has a dishwasher.
You get two allocated parking spaces. There's also a storage area for bikes.
The village is quiet. There are good flat walks from the door, either down to Derwentwater marina or along into Keswick. You can get the Keswick Launch from Nichol End just down the road, which is a nice way to see the fells.
Keswick has all the shops, cafés and outdoor gear you'd need. For bigger walks, Catbells is very close. You can drive to Whinlatter Forest for mountain biking or go a bit further towards Borrowdale.
