Wendover
This is Wendover in Keswick. It's a terrace house right in the centre of town, about two minutes walk from the market square.
The house sleeps eight across four bedrooms, and it's got two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star property, so it's clean and comfortable but it's not posh. It's a good, solid base. The living room is at the back and looks out over the enclosed garden, which is quiet.
You're very close to everything here. Shops, cafes, a supermarket, it's all a short walk. There's a pub nearby too. Parking is on site for one car.
For walks, you can step out the door and be on the paths. Latrigg is very accessible from here. For a bigger day, Skiddaw is right there. The shores of Derwentwater are about a fifteen minute walk.
Things like bed linen are included. We've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
If you're driving out, Borrowdale is about ten minutes south. The Kirkstone Pass to Ullswater is maybe twenty five minutes. The main A66 gets you to Penrith or Cockermouth in roughly half an hour.
