Pollywiggle Cottage
Pollywiggle Cottage is in Keswick, about a minute's walk from the market square. It's a one-bedroom cottage, newly done up. It sleeps two. You can bring one dog.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's not huge. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow, which is normal for a cottage here. Just so you know.
The bedroom is a decent double with exposed stone walls. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Downstairs there's a small kitchen if you want to cook, and a table for two. There's a little seating area outside at the back.
You don't need a car. George Fisher and the Alhambra cinema are opposite. The shops, pubs, and Derwentwater are all a short walk away. Theatre by the Lake is down by the water.
For walking, you can start from the door. Latrigg is close. Catbells, Skiddaw, Blencathra are all nearby. The Lake District National Park site has good walking information.
Facilities are all included: wifi, TV, bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. Parking is on the street, you'll need a permit which we provide.
