This is No. 30, a flat (first floor apartment) right in the middle of Keswick. It's not a cottage.
It sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's quite handy. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well kitted out.
The living area is all one open plan room: kitchen, dining, and sitting area together. It's modern and clean. You get a dishwasher and a washing machine, which is useful. There's WiFi. There's also a locked shed around the back if you need to store bikes.
You're in the town centre, so everything is on your doorstep. Shops, cafes, pubs. You can hear the town, it's not silent. The main benefit is you can just walk out and be in it all. Derwentwater lake is a ten minute walk away.
Two dogs are allowed. They'd need to be okay with stairs, as there's no lift.
For days out, you're in a good spot. You can walk straight onto the fells from the flat. Derwentwater is close for boating. The Theatre by the Lake is along the lake shore. Castlerigg Stone Circle is a short drive away.
