Bewick Lodge
Bewick Lodge is a pine log cabin on a site called Burnside Park. It's on the edge of Keswick, about a fifteen minute walk from the town centre. You get the views but you're not right in the middle of everything.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is clean and modern inside. The main view from the terrace looks towards Latrigg and Skiddaw.
There's a patio with furniture and a bit of garden that's yours to use. On site parking for one car is included. Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are provided. We can put a cot in if you need one. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
The site has a few other lodges, so it's not completely isolated, but it's quiet. The walk into Keswick is straightforward. There's a local pub within walking distance too.
You're right at the foot of the fells. You can walk up Latrigg from practically the doorstep if you want. Derwentwater is about a twenty minute walk away. For a bigger day out, you can drive to places like Borrowdale or Buttermere in under half an hour.
