Cumberland Place
Cumberland Place is an apartment in Keswick. It's in a big Victorian slate building on the main street. You get the whole two floors.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom has a king bed and its own shower. The other has a double and a single bed in it. They're both a good size. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You come in at the back, into a boot room. There's space there for bikes and muddy boots. Then you go up 13 steps to the main living floor. The kitchen and living room are open plan. The ceilings are high and you can see right down the high street from the windows.
There's a rooftop terrace off the landing. It's up above the street, a quiet spot to sit. It gets the morning sun.
There's one parking space round the back. If you have two small cars and park carefully, you can usually get them both in.
You're right in the middle of town. Shops, pubs, and restaurants are literally across the road. The Moot Hall is there. It's about a five minute walk through Hope Park to get down to Derwentwater. You can get the boat from there.
For walks, you can start from the doorstep. Latrigg is close. For bigger days, Skiddaw or the Coledale round are a short drive away.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
