Oak Apple House

Oak Apple House is in Keswick, on a quiet little close of similar houses. It's detached. You get your own garden and there's a garage and parking on the drive.

It sleeps six, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's been done up nicely and feels comfortable. The stairs are mentioned as steep, narrow, or spiral in the official description. They're fine if you take them steadily.

Keswick itself is a five minute walk away. You've got all the shops, cafes, and pubs you need there. You can walk down through Hope Park to get to Derwentwater and the theatre by the lake without needing the car.

The place is really for walkers. You can start a dozen different routes from the door. For driving out, Borrowdale is about ten minutes one way, and the Whinlatter forest park is about fifteen minutes the other. Ullswater is maybe a twenty-five minute drive.

Facilities: it's got the things you'd expect - dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding is included and there's a cot. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
