Poachers Cottage is in Keswick, right next to the pub. It's a pub, but they're not noisy about it. They do meals and real ale if you want it.
It's an old cottage, built in 1893. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but not fancy.
The location is handy. There's a cafe across the road. You're about two hundred yards from the A66 for getting around, but it's set back so the road noise isn't bad. It's a ten minute walk into Keswick town centre, through the park.
If you're walking, you're about four hundred yards from the start of the path up Latrigg. That's a good one to start with, the views over Derwentwater are excellent.
In the house you've got a washing machine, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. The garden is yours, it's enclosed.
