Clover Cottage
Clover Cottage is in Keswick, just off the main street. It's at the back of a courtyard, so it's quiet, but you can walk to everything in the town in a couple of minutes. There's one parking space for a small car right outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one with a kingsize bed and one with twins. There's one bathroom. It was all done up a few years ago, so it's clean and in good order. It has a 4 Star rating.
The living space is open plan downstairs. The stairs are a bit unusual, they split halfway up to go to each bedroom. They're fine, just something to note.
You're about thirty seconds from the shops and pubs. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk down the hill. You can hire boats there. The Theatre by the Lake is on the shore. For a good walk, Latrigg is close, or Catbells is a bit further.
Within about half an hour's drive you can get to a lot of the northern Lake District. Grasmere, Ullswater, and Honister Pass are all in that range.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, wifi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance is step-free. It's decorated for Christmas if you book over that period.
