Burns Knott
Burns Knott is a bungalow on a quiet street in Keswick. It's semi-detached. You get the garden to yourselves, which is enclosed. There's parking on the drive.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's all on the ground floor, it's straightforward to get around. The rooms are a good size.
There's an open plan kitchen and dining area. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi. We've left a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Outside there's a patio with furniture and a BBQ. The view from there looks towards Blencathra. You can see other fells like Skiddaw from the front too.
You can walk into Keswick town centre in about ten minutes. There are shops, pubs and places to eat. The theatre by the lake is there as well.
For walking, you're right in it. Latrigg is practically on the doorstep. You can get to Derwentwater in minutes. The Keswick Launch does boat trips across to walks like Catbells. There's plenty of other hiking and cycling from the door.
If you want to drive, Borrowdale is about ten minutes south. Thirlmere and the northern fells are a short drive north. You're about half an hour from Ullswater.
