The Old Laundry 4
The Old Laundry 4 is in Keswick. It's a first and second floor flat in a converted building. The name's from when it used to be a laundry. You're about two minutes' walk from the market square.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's well looked after. Everything you need is there.
The main thing is the parking. You get a secure garage space, which is a big deal in Keswick. You don't have to worry about finding a spot.
There's also a roof terrace. It's timber decked and private, a good spot if you get a sunny evening. You get to it from the living room.
Inside, you can use the stairs or there's a lift if you've got bags or a pushchair. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
The town centre is just down the road. Shop, pubs, restaurants, all within a hundred yards. It's very handy.
For getting out, you're right on the edge of everything. Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk. You can get the launches from there. The Catbells path is a short drive away, maybe fifteen minutes. For a bigger day out, you can drive to Honister Pass or Buttermere in about twenty minutes.
No pets, sorry.
