This is the Grooms Room. It's an apartment in the old coach house at Dale Head Hall, near Thirlmere. The view from here is towards the lake. It's quiet.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. The space is clean and comfortable. The main hotel's gardens are there for you to walk through.
You're right at the foot of Helvellyn. You can start the walk from the door. There's also a good, flat path along the shore of Thirlmere. Keswick is about five miles away for shops and places to eat.
From here you can get to Grasmere, Ambleside and the south lakes over the Kirkstone Pass. It's a central spot.
In the apartment there's a shower, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a small patio area. There's a local pub within walking distance. Sorry, no pets.
