Glenwood
Glenwood is a semi-detached cottage on a quiet street in Keswick. It's not tucked away, it's just on a residential road about a five minute walk from the central market square. You can see Skiddaw from the front bedroom window.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. It's clean and warm. The garden is small but enclosed, with a table and chairs.
You can walk to everything in Keswick. The shops, pubs, and the theatre are all a few minutes away. The leisure centre has a pool. Derwentwater is about a fifteen minute walk down the hill. You can get the launch from there.
For walking, you're right in it. You can start the Latrigg walk from the end of the street. Catbells is a short drive away. The Whinlatter Forest trails are about fifteen minutes by car.
If you want to explore further, Buttermere and Borrowdale are within half an hour. The Honister Slate Mine is about twenty minutes drive. Ullswater is about forty minutes.
It has parking for one car on the drive. There's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
