Causey View
Causey View is a bungalow on the north edge of Keswick. It's on a quiet cul-de-sac, about an eight minute walk into the town centre. That walk is flat, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. We finished a full refurbishment in early 2025, so everything inside is new. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern.
The main thing is the space outside. There's a large private garden facing south, so it gets the sun. It looks out towards the fells. You get private parking on site, and there's storage for bikes.
Inside, it's got Wi-Fi and a TV. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity is in the price. We've also put in an electric vehicle charger.
You're a short walk from Keswick and all its shops and cafes. There's a local pub too. For bigger days out, you're right in the middle of the Northern Fells. The Lake District National Park site is good for planning walks. Derwentwater is about a twenty minute walk away, or two minutes in the car.
Within a thirty minute drive you can get to places like Grasmere, Ambleside, and the Honister Pass. The National Trust looks after a few sites around here, like Borrowdale and Bassenthwaite.
