Roseworth
Roseworth is in Portinscale. It's semi-detached, but it's a good size inside. There's a private garden out the back that gets the afternoon sun, and you can park on the drive. The garage is handy if you've brought bikes.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. We renovated it a few years ago, so the kitchen and bathroom are modern. It's got a 4 Star rating. The view from the front double looks straight at Causey Pike, and from the twin you can see Skiddaw.
The Farmers Arms pub is about a hundred yards away. They do food and it's a proper local. You can walk into Keswick in fifteen minutes, there's a footpath across the fields. The lake and the marina are also just a short walk.
For getting out, it's a good spot. You're right at the start of the Whinlatter pass and the Newlands Valley, so it's ideal if you're here to walk or mountain bike. Keswick has all the shops and cafes. For a bigger day out, National Trust Borrowdale is close by, and Whinlatter Forest is a short drive.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, a washing machine, parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
