Howe Bridge House

Howe Bridge House is near How, just outside Keswick. It's a semi-detached cottage, an old railway place. It sits up above where the old train line used to run, looking over the River Derwent.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not swish. There are two living rooms, which is handy if people want to do different things.

The views are good. Out the back you can see Skiddaw and Latrigg. Out the front, the fells above Braithwaite. You're up on a bit of a hill, fields around you, but you're not remote.

Keswick town centre is about a mile away. There's a footpath along the river that gets you there. Portinscale village is closer, maybe a fifteen minute walk. They've got a pub, a couple of cafes, a restaurant, and the marina there. The nearest pub and restaurant is about half a mile.

Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a TV, parking on site. The garden is enclosed. Bedding is included. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
