Walkers Retreat
Walkers Retreat is a cottage in Keswick. It's right off Main Street, so you can get to the shops and pubs easily. It's on a quiet bit of road, so it's not too noisy.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are downstairs. The kitchen and living room are upstairs. Because of that, the views from the living room are better. You can see the fells.
The set-up might feel a bit backwards, but it works. The stairs are standard.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Parking for one car is right outside.
You can bring two dogs. Bring their beds, please. Towels and bedding are included.
Location wise, you're a five minute walk from the Theatre by the Lake and the boat landings on Derwent Water. You can hire boats there. For walks, you can start from the door. Latrigg is a good, easy one. For something bigger, you can drive to the foot of Skiddaw or Blencathra in about ten minutes.
If you fancied a drive, Borrowdale and Buttermere are about twenty minutes. Ullswater is maybe half an hour.
