Whitegates is a bungalow in Portinscale. It's detached, so you've got your own walls. It's in a quiet bit of the village, mostly houses.
It sleeps six, but there are only two bedrooms. That means some beds are bunks. One bathroom.
It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean, it’s comfortable. It's not a show home.
The main thing is the view. You can see the fells from the front. It’s a proper Lakeland view, nothing in the way.
You're about half a mile from Derwentwater. It’s a ten minute walk down to the lake. From there you can walk around it, or head up into the fells. The path into Keswick goes across the fields, takes about twenty minutes. Or you can drive it in five.
There's a pub in the village that does food. There's a restaurant too. For more shops and places to eat, Keswick has everything. It's a busy town.
You've got a bit of a patio garden. Parking is right there. There's a washing machine, wifi, a tv. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. You can store bikes. No pets I'm afraid.
