This is Fairview. It's a house in Keswick, up on Castlerigg Brow. The view is the main thing. You look out over the town, Bassenthwaite Lake, and the fells. You can see Skiddaw and Grasmoor from the front windows.
It sleeps seven, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's a high spec. Everything's new and works well. The living area is open plan, with a big kitchen island. The dining table seats eight.
You can walk into Keswick town centre in about 15 minutes. It's less than a mile. That means you can leave the car if you want. The town has the usual pubs, restaurants, and shops. Theatre by the Lake is down there by Derwentwater.
If you're bringing a dog, that's fine, up to two. The garden is enclosed. There's parking on site.
For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. Derwentwater is a short drive or a decent walk. You can hire boats there. The Puzzling Place and the Pencil Museum are in town for a rainy day. For a longer drive, you're about 15 minutes from Whinlatter Forest for walking or cycling trails.
It has all the things you'd expect: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a wood burning stove.
