Fairview
Fairview is a house on the edge of Keswick. It’s a modern build, so the rooms are a decent size and it feels quite spacious. It's got that 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, so there's less queueing in the morning. The main living area is all open plan, kitchen and dining and sitting room together. There’s a big table that seats eight. The kitchen appliances are good.
The view from the front is the main thing. You look out over Keswick, past Bassenthwaite Lake towards Whinlatter Forest. You can see a few of the fells from there too, like Skiddaw.
You can walk into town. It takes about fifteen minutes from the door to the market square, so you can leave the car if you want. Keswick has the usual stuff: pubs, restaurants, outdoor shops, a couple of supermarkets.
The house has parking. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a woodburning stove. The garden is enclosed if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of which, you can bring up to two pets.
If you're looking for things to do, the National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Wordsworth House. For walking routes and general park information, the Lake District National Park site is useful.
