Riverside Cottage
Riverside Cottage is in Keswick, right on the River Greta. You can hear it from the garden. It's a short walk into the town centre, maybe fifteen minutes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The stairs are steep and narrow. They're original. You'll need to be careful on them.
From the back door, you can walk straight out onto the fells. Latrigg is right there. Skiddaw and Blencathra aren't far. You don't need to drive to start a walk.
Derwentwater is about ten minutes walk away, through Hope Park. You can get a launch from there to different points on the lake. The Theatre by the Lake is in the same spot.
Keswick has everything you need. Plenty of outdoor shops, pubs, and places to eat.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's parking for one car, WiFi, a TV, and a garden with a table. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
