Gilbert's Warrant
This is Gilbert's Warrant in Keswick. It's a stone terraced house right in the town. You can walk to everything.
It sleeps seven in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite upstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's been done up nicely. The stairs are what you'd expect in an old house. They're fine, just a bit steep.
The living area is open plan on the ground floor. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. The back garden is enclosed, with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
You're two minutes from the River Greta. Cross the bridge and you're at Fitz Park. It's about a five minute walk into the main town centre for shops, pubs, and restaurants.
For walks, you can start from the doorstep. The Theatre by the Lake and Derwentwater are about three quarters of a mile. You're well placed for the fells if that's your thing. Skiddaw and Blencathra are right there.
It has the things you'd need: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a stairgate and highchair if you need them.
