Gilbert's Warrant
Gilbert's Warrant is a terraced house in Keswick. It's built from local stone. It's not remote, you're right in the town. The town centre is about five minutes walk.
It sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It was refurbished a few years back.
The living area is open plan on the ground floor. There's a wood burner. The kitchen leads out to a small, enclosed garden with some furniture. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The stairs are a bit steep in places, it's just the way the house is built.
You can get to Fitz Park and the River Greta in two minutes. The main shops, pubs, and restaurants are about five minutes walk. There's a good range. The Theatre by the Lake is on the edge of Derwentwater, about a fifteen minute walk.
For walking, you're well placed. Skiddaw and Blencathra are right there. Derwentwater is about a mile away for a gentler stroll or a boat trip. You're close to a lot of the famous fells.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair and stairgate. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
