Stables

This is Stables. It's in Braithwaite, just outside Keswick. It's a detached stone place, used to be a stable. There's a garden and a little bit of woodland with a slope.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, all with twin beds. Three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a modern fit out, comfortable. Views from the front look right up to Skiddaw. It feels quiet up here.

You're a five minute walk into Braithwaite village. There's a couple of pubs that do food, and a shop. You can start walking right from the door. The path goes into the woods and up into Whinlatter Forest. The trails there are good for mountain biking too.

Keswick is about ten minutes by car. Derwentwater and Cat Bells are maybe fifteen minutes. If you want to go into the main part of the Lake District, Grasmere and Ambleside are roughly half an hour.

What's here: parking for a few cars, garden furniture, Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
