Skiddaw View
Skiddaw View is in Keswick. It’s a first and second floor apartment, above a shop. The entrance is round the back.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have showers, no bath. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not high-end. The views from the top floor bedrooms are good, you can see Skiddaw.
You are right in the middle of town. There’s a shop about ten yards from the front door and a pub about twenty yards away. It’s handy, but it can be noisy on a Friday or Saturday night.
For walking, you’re spoilt. You can be on the path around Derwentwater in five minutes. For bigger walks, Catbells is a short drive away.
If you want to drive out, the Whinlatter Pass is about ten minutes away. There’s a visitor centre and mountain bike trails up there. Borrowdale and Buttermere are both within half an hour.
Facilities: it’s open plan living. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot if you need it. You can bring one dog.
