Turners Lodge is in Keswick. It's an apartment on the edge of town, so you’ve got the shops and pubs a short walk away, but you’re looking straight out at the fells. You can start a walk from the door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a comfortable, modern place. Things like the heating are controlled by a Nest thermostat, and there's an Amazon Echo in the lounge and bedrooms if you want to use it.
There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi. The supermarket across the road has an electric car charging point if you need it.
You're right on the edge of the town for the cafes and pubs, and right on the edge of the countryside for getting out. It’s a good spot if you want a bit of both without using the car.
For planning days out, the Lake District National Park site has all the walking routes and information. The National Trust looks after a lot of the land and houses around here too.
