Briargarth
This is Briargarth. It's a bungalow in a cul-de-sac on the edge of Keswick. It's detached and the garden is all yours, fenced in. The back garden gets the sun and the view is just fields and fells. Good for sunsets.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well kept. Being a bungalow, there are no stairs to worry about.
You can walk into Keswick town centre in about five minutes. Shops, cafes, pubs, the usual. There's a pub just along the road. Keswick is a good spot because you've got everything you need there, but you can also walk straight out onto the fells from the door if you want.
Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk from the house. You can get the launch from there. For a bigger day out, you're close to things like Catbells or Ashness Bridge. Borrowdale is about a ten minute drive.
In terms of what's here: there's parking for one car on the drive. The garden is enclosed. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
For planning walks or visits, the National Trust Lake District site is useful, as is the Lake District National Park site.
