Kissing Gate
Kissing Gate is in Keswick, just off the Main Street. It's a ground floor apartment in a small courtyard, so you can walk into the middle of town in a few minutes. You don't really need the car once you're here. There's a private parking space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. It's not huge, but it's got what you need. The windows are double glazed, so it's quiet even though you're close to everything.
The shop and a pub are about 50 yards away. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in town. Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk down the road. The park is nearby if you fancy a game of tennis or bowls.
For bigger days out, you're right in the northern Lakes. You can drive to Borrowdale or up to Skiddaw easily. Ullswater and Grasmere are about twenty minutes by car.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot available if you need it.
