The Old Stable
The Old Stable is in Keswick town centre. It's a small place, just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
You get in through a stable door off a little lane. It's quiet back there considering how central it is. The kitchen is new and has everything you need. The stairs go up to the main room, which is a studio layout with the bed in it. It's compact but they've used the space well. There's a TV with Netflix if you want it.
The location is the main thing. You can walk to everything in a few minutes. The Alhambra cinema is just up the road. You're opposite George Fisher for any outdoor gear. All the pubs, shops and restaurants are right there.
A parking permit for the central car park is included. It's about a three minute walk away. You won't need your car once you're here.
For walking, you're right in it. Latrigg and Catbells are close. Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn are all within reach. The town is full of walkers.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. It's all on one level inside once you're through the door, so it's accessible for wheelchairs.
