Briar Rigg
Briar Rigg is in Keswick, just on the edge of town. It's a semi-detached house. The main thing is the location. You're out of the bustle, but it's a ten minute walk through Fitz Park to the centre. The path up Latrigg starts right outside the gate.
It sleeps eight, across four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which is useful with that many people. One is a ground floor wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's clean and in good order.
You get a decent sized garden. Parking for four cars on the drive. There's a garage and a shed for bikes. Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a conservatory on the back.
There's a pub about 400 yards away. The leisure pool is at the other end of the road. For the fells, you can be on the slopes of Skiddaw in minutes from the door.
For a day out, you've got Derwentwater a mile away. National Trust Borrowdale is close. Honister Pass is about a 20 minute drive. Buttermere is maybe 25 minutes.
What's here: washing machine, dishwasher, towels and bedding included. There's a cot if you need it. No pets, sorry.
