Briar Rigg
Briar Rigg is in Keswick, up near the top end of town. It's semi-detached, sleeps eight, four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It feels like a proper family house.
The location is good. You're on the edge of town, so it's quiet, but you can walk into the centre through Fitz Park in about ten minutes. The path up Latrigg starts basically outside the front door. There's a pub and a café a few minutes walk away.
The house has a garage and a shed you can put bikes in. Parking for four cars on the drive. There's a decent sized garden at the back, and a conservatory off the kitchen.
Inside it's open plan on the ground floor. There's a wet room downstairs, useful if you come in muddy. It's got all the things you'd expect: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, towels included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets.
Keswick Leisure Pool is at the other end of the road. The town has all the shops you'll need. For walking, you're right there for Skiddaw and the Northern Fells. Derwentwater is a short walk away.
