Whiteside Lodge is a log cabin on Burnside Park, which is a woodland site about a fifteen minute walk from Keswick town centre. It looks out towards the Helvellyn range and you can see Skiddaw from here too.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable without being luxurious.
The cabin is one of several on the park. You have your own patio area with a table and chairs. It's peaceful. The site is well-kept.
Keswick is close enough to walk to for pubs and shops. There's a local pub within walking distance as well. The park feels tucked away, but you're not isolated.
For getting out, you're right in the Lake District National Park. You can drive into Borrowdale or up to Thirlmere in under half an hour. Derwentwater is just on the edge of Keswick.
The facilities are what you'd need: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
If you're planning walks or trips, these sites are useful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
