Hastings
This is Hastings. It's a cottage in Keswick. It's in a quiet street, mostly houses. You're a five minute walk from the main shops and about ten minutes from Derwentwater.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. One is at the front with a view of Latrigg. There are two bathrooms, which is useful. One downstairs has a walk-in shower. Upstairs there's a bathroom with a free-standing bath.
It's got private parking round the back. There's a small enclosed courtyard out there too, with some seating.
Inside, it's clean and modern. It's got a woodburning stove in the lounge. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is included, and all the bedding and towels.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot if you need one.
From the door, you can walk up into the fells or take a gentler stroll along the lake. Keswick town centre is close for pubs and restaurants. The Lake District National Park site has good walking information. For local history and houses, the National Trust page is worth a look.
Within half an hour you can drive to places like Grasmere, Ambleside, or Buttermere.
