Grajo Cottage
Grajo Cottage is in Scales, Cumbria. It's on a working beef and sheep farm, in a short row of holiday cottages. The location is good for the Northern Lakes. You're right on the lower slopes of Blencathra, so the views from the front are very direct.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. Two doubles and a twin. It's 4 Star, so it's comfortable and has what you need. The stairs are standard for a cottage.
Outside the front door there's a private, south-facing patio with garden furniture. You can get to it by eight steps, or there's a ramp. It catches the sun.
The farm is just off the A66, between Threlkeld and Scales. There's a local pub about three quarters of a mile away. A shop is roughly four and a half miles. Keswick is about five miles. That's where you'll find the main supermarkets, shops, and places like the Theatre by the Lake. Derwentwater is seven miles.
If you're walking, you're well placed. You can head straight up onto Blencathra from here. Keswick Golf Club is less than a mile away if that's your thing.
Inside, it's got a living room and an open plan kitchen-diner. Facilities are straightforward: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
