Falcon Crag is in Keswick down by the river. It’s a maisonette, so part of a bigger building, but everything you get is yours. We had it fully renovated a few years back so it’s modern inside.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. Two of those bedrooms, along with the main living area and kitchen, are on the ground floor. The other two bedrooms are downstairs in the basement, where there’s also a second sitting room. So it’s split over two floors. It works well for a bigger group.
The kitchen is large and well equipped. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Both bathrooms are fully tiled. You get bedding and towels included. There’s on-site parking for one car, which is a real help in Keswick.
The town centre is about 400 yards away. You can walk it in five minutes. There’s a local pub just up the road. The garden is a patio area, it’s not huge but it’s a spot to sit out.
The property has a 4 Star rating. It means everything should be in good, clean order for you.
You’re right on the edge of the town so you can head straight out for a walk. You’re close to Derwentwater and the fells. For wider planning, the Lake District National Park site is useful, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the local land.
We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. There’s a cot available if you need one.
