Falcon Crag
Falcon Crag is a modernised cottage in Keswick. It's about five minutes' walk to the town centre. The location is simple: you're in town without being on the main street.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got a four star rating, which is for the standard of facilities. Everything was redone recently.
The layout is a maisonette. The kitchen, living area and two bedrooms are on the ground floor. Then there are two more bedrooms and a second sitting area in the basement. The basement rooms get light from windows at the top of the walls.
It comes with all the things you'd expect: a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, TV, and parking for one car on the drive. There's a woodburning stove for the colder months. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
There’s a small patio area out the front if you want to sit outside.
For things to do, you’re right in the middle of Keswick so shops, cafes and pubs are on the doorstep. The lake and Borrowdale are a short walk away. Lake District National Park has walking routes and information. You can drive to places like Ullswater or Buttermere in under half an hour.
