Latrigg View
Latrigg View is in Keswick, up in a quiet residential street. It's a stone cottage, but it's been done up inside. We did it in 2018 so it's fresh and light.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The layout is upside down. You come in on the ground floor to the bedrooms, then you go upstairs to the living room and kitchen. We did that because the view from up there is better. You can see over the rooftops towards Latrigg fell.
The town centre is a few minutes walk away. It's level, so it's easy. You've got the park, the shops, and the leisure pool with the flume there. There's a local pub too, just round the corner.
It's good for walking. You can be on the fells in no time. Latrigg itself is just there. You can walk up it from the cottage if you want a proper leg stretch. For a longer drive, Buttermere and Derwentwater are about ten minutes away.
For facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and the bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
