Beech Nut
This place is Beech Nut. It's in one of the courts just off the main street in Keswick. You can walk into town in less than five minutes, which is the main draw.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. It's ground floor, which is handy. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second one has a single.
You get your own parking space, which is a bonus in Keswick. You really don't need to move your car once you're here unless you want to. Derwentwater is about a ten minute walk away. The leisure pool is close, and the park is right there for a run around or a game of bowls.
There are lots of pubs, cafes, and shops on the doorstep. The one thing to know is that it's in a shared courtyard, so you will see other people coming and going sometimes. It's not noisy, but it's not isolated.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: WiFi, a dishwasher, towels are included. There's a wet room, which is good if anyone has mobility issues.
For days out, you're right in the middle of everything. The National Trust runs a lot of the land around Derwentwater. You can drive to Buttermere or Grasmere in under half an hour. The Lake District National Park site has good walking route ideas.
No pets, I'm afraid.
