The Old Laundry 3
The Old Laundry 3 is a first and second floor flat in a converted building just off the main street in Keswick. You can walk into town in about two minutes. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There's a lift up to the flat, or you can use the stairs. It's handy for unloading. You get a private deck on the roof, which is sunny and looks over the town and the fells. There's also a secure garage for your car, which is quite rare in Keswick.
The flat faces the street at the front, so there's some town noise during the day, but it's quieter at night. Just something to be aware of.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. For bigger supermarkets, you're a very short drive from the edge of town.
You're right on the doorstep of everything. Derwentwater is a ten minute walk one way, and the fells start pretty much the other way. For a good day out, you can drive to Borrowdale or Whinlatter Forest in under twenty minutes.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding. There's a cot if you need it. No pets, sorry.
