Netherend is a converted barn near Scales, in Cumbria. It's detached, surrounded by fields and fells. The views are really something. It’s quiet up here.
The place sleeps ten, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s a Three Star property. It’s comfortable and clean.
There are stone walls and wood burning stoves. The beams are low in some doorways, you have to mind your head. The stairs are typical for somewhere like this, so take care.
The garden is enclosed. It looks straight at Blencathra across the valley. You can walk straight out onto the fells from the door, no driving needed. Keswick is a short drive away, about four and a half miles. That’s where all the pubs, shops, and cafes are. The Keswick launch on Derwentwater is good. You can walk one way and get the boat back.
If you're driving, Ullswater isn't far, maybe twenty minutes. The golf course is a couple of miles away. Kids will like the space outside. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
