Robinson

The Robinson is a terraced house in Keswick. It's on a quiet residential street but you can walk into the town centre in about five minutes.

The house sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle. There's also a separate downstairs toilet. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but it's not a luxury place.

The rooms are a good size with high ceilings. There's a living room, a separate dining room, and a kitchen that leads out to a small patio. You get one private parking space and there's usually free roadside parking nearby too.

It's a stone-built Lakeland house, so the walls are thick. The stairs are a standard cottage staircase. You'll be fine.

Keswick has everything you need: pubs, restaurants, shops, outdoor kit shops. It's all on your doorstep. You can hire rowing boats on Derwentwater, which is about a fifteen minute walk. For walking, you're right in the middle of it. Skiddaw, Blencathra, Catbells are all nearby.

Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. There's space to store bikes. Sorry, no pets.

If you're planning days out, these sites are useful: Lake District National Park and National Trust Lake District.
