Siskin
Siskin is in Keswick, just off the main street. It's a town house, so you're right in the thick of it. Having a private parking space out the back is a real plus for somewhere this central.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. Two of those are doubles and two are twins. There are two bathrooms, both with showers. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable, and recently done up. The stairs are a typical town house sort, a bit steeper than a modern house.
Everything you need is a five minute walk. Supermarkets, pubs, bakeries, the lot. The park by the lake is about ten minutes on foot. The house has a small patio area out the back if you want some air.
For getting out, you're at the edge of the town so heading for the hills is straightforward. Latrigg is a good start if you want a view without a massive climb. For a proper walk, Skiddaw is right there, or you can drive a short way to Borrowdale or Newlands.
In terms of what's here: there's WiFi, a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in one of the bedrooms if you need it. We take up to two well-behaved dogs.
