Saddleback

Saddleback is in Keswick, about a ten minute walk from the town centre. It's a mid terrace cottage.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. It's over three floors, so be ready for some stairs.

You're on a quiet street. It's residential, so it's not a view of the fells from the window, but you're only a few minutes from being right in the middle of them. The walk into town is flat and easy. Keswick has everything you need: shops, pubs, a good market.

The cottage has a patio garden out the back. There's parking for one car on the drive.

Inside, you've got a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi, bedding and towels are all included. We can put a cot and a highchair in if you need them. No pets, sorry.

From here, you can walk straight out onto the fells. Derwentwater is a short walk away. For a bigger day out, Borrowdale and Lake District National Park are right on the doorstep. Grasmere, Ambleside and Ullswater are all within about half an hour's drive.
