Rotherwood
Right, Rotherwood. It's a bungalow, detached, in Portinscale. That's a small village just outside Keswick. The garden's fully enclosed. It feels quite private.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which is handy. It got a full refurbishment a few years back, so everything's clean and works. It's got a four star rating.
The local pub is about a hundred yards away. There's a restaurant even closer. The village is right on Derwentwater, so you can see the lake. You can walk down to the marina.
Keswick town centre is two miles by road. Or you can walk across the fields, which is nicer. Takes about forty minutes. All the shops and cafes are there.
For walking, you can get straight onto the fells from the door. Derwentwater is there for sailing or taking a launch trip. You can drive into the heart of the Lakes pretty easily.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, wifi, parking for a couple of cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
